A No, Recreation Station is a parent supervised creative play center. We have activities and adventures for children of all ages. Our art, music, and block rooms invite children to explore their creative sides while developing fine motor skills. The dramatic play, science, reading and puzzle zones allow children to use their imaginations while strengthening their thinking skills. The train area and sensory rooms provide an excellent opportunity for children to further develop their talents and abilities through playing. Q Is your facility for children with disabilities? A Absolutely, Recreation Station supports families who have children with or without disabilities. This indoor / outdoor facility allows families and children of diverse abilities and backgrounds to play and interact in a social setting together. Q Does your facility serve food? A No, Recreation Station does not provide any type of food or refreshments for general admission. Families are welcome to bring a packed lunch and use the Celebration room but MUST CALL IN ADVANCE TO SEE IF IT IS AVAILABLE. When the room is rented out for an event, there are no other spaces available for families to eat their meals or snacks. Please keep in mind that we are a peanut free facility and all food brought into the center must abide by these rules. Thank you in advance! Q What are your hours? A Recreation Station is open Tuesday, Thursday & Friday from 8:30 am – 6:00 pm and Saturdays from 11:00 am – 4:00 pm. Additional hours are available for birthday parties, field trips & play dates! Recreation Station is a place where children and grown-ups can explore, learn and play together in a clean and nurturing environment. Rainbow's End Recreation Station is the perfect play atmosphere to encourage imaginations for all children. We offer unique entertaining, and educational play areas that stimulate your child's creative ability as well as the perfect place to spend time with your child/grandchild. Recreation Station has activities and adventures for children of all ages at all ability levels. Children will be visually enticed by our fiber optic curtain and bubble projector in our calm-down sensory room. They can dance and play instruments in the music room, and show their artistic abilities in our art room with the spill absorbent floor. In the pretend play area, one can perform a puppet show, shop in the market place and future chefs may prepare a delicious meal in the pretend kitchen. If one feels a little wild, you could visit our large play area where children can run, jump, and wiggle their worries away! Our Outdoor Learning Center Playground is open! - Play in our spacious village including a train station, a school house, a fire/police station and a gas station!
- Climb up the cargo net aboard our 15 foot train, peer out the bubble window and ring the bell before exiting onto the slide!
- Put on a play or do a little dance on our amphitheatre!
- Create a symphony in our music garden!
- Play on our two custom sliding boards, one a conductor’s hat, the other a giant ladybug leaf!
- Many other surprises to explore in this spacious outdoor playground!
